This is the boat that took us from Tanjong Pinang to Pompong Island. It had three 200hp outboard engines and cruised at a steady 27 to 28 knots both ways. It was selected by Major Tan on his second trip to Tanjong Pinang. That's Ismi, the major's "staff" as he calls him, squatting on the bow. Ismi did all these little things that made all the difference to the trip, the things you don't necessarily see but are there in the background.
